What are the advantages of using ANSDirectSM?
ANSDirectSM edits your electronic transactions before they are sent to reduce rejections and tracks them to avoid lost claims. This saves time and improves your cash flow.

How will our claims processing change?
It should be easier. ANSDirectSM detects most errors before the claim is submitted so they can be corrected immediately. Your claims are sent to ANS so they can be acknowledged and their status reported. Updates are provided as they are received to keep you informed of the status of your claims.
Will ANSDirectSM change my current office management system or the way it works?
No. ANSDirectSM only transmits and receives standard electronic transactions from the same computer that runs your practice management system. ANSDirectSM accepts electronic transactions from most office management systems and delivers them to the appropriate payers avoiding dual data entry.
Does this affect my contract for support with my office management system vendor?
No. The contract for support of your office management system is not affected by using ANSDirectSM. When vendor system upgrades occur, we may need to make modifications to ANSDirect to ensure your transactions service continues. Call ANS before installing any upgrades to avoid service disruptions.
Is ANSDirectSM compliant with HIPAA
Yes. ANS processes all HIPAA standard electronic transactions and is an accredited clearinghouse. Accreditation requires verified compliance with the HIPAA transaction and code set regulations as well as the privacy and security requirements and more rigorous standards of operational performance.
ANSDirectSM meets HIPAA security requirements for encrypted transmissions of protected health information over the Internet using secure (128 bit) hyper text transfer protocol (HTTP/S).
What are the contractual requirements for ANSDirectSM?
Like most software ANSDirectSM is licensed for use. The first 500 transactions you submit each month cost $29.95. The next 500 transactions each month are only $20.00. Currently, you may be paying as much as $0.50 for each electronic claim and still not have support for the other transactions that simplify your office administration.
There are no additional fees for installation of the software, training or support. The contract is month-to month so you may cancel at any time.
How am I billed?
We request pre-payment of monthly charges, generally for a period of one to three months. Monthly reconciliation statements for our services are provided to help you keep track of all charges debited to your account. Charges on credit card statements will be shown as ?Affiliated Network Services.?
Do you guarantee complete satisfaction?
Yes. Our goal is to provide you with 100% customer satisfaction. If you wish to terminate your service agreement with ANS at any time, we will refund any remaining credits on your account. Our current clients are the source of many of our new clients, so our retention rate is very high.
